The state of the art conference center was completed in the spring of 2002. It was named after Merle Manders, the city clerk, who realized many years ago that such a center would be needed in the growing area of Stockbridge. It was built for the purpose of hosting such events such as:
- Corporate meetings, seminars, and banquets
- Private parties
- Weddings & receptions
- Holiday festivities
- Non profit benefits
